Production: adding music and titles


I'm editing my video now and I'm not happy with it. I added to much dialogue and my film is too long. I'm kind of really sad about it. It's definitely not my best work. I'm going to try to make everything more put together because at this point I'm just cutting part o the film and it looks so choppy. I didn't plan it out right. Because I had to do so many scenes I messed up. UGHHH, I'm sad. So far I got it down to 3 minutes and 35 seconds. I was really excited about this project and it's not looking too good. Hopefully I can turn nothing into something. If you couldn't already tell, I'm writing my blog and editing at the same time. UPDATE, I got it down to 3:09. Almost there! I shortened the dialogue in one of the scenes. To stop it from looking so choppy, I added transitions. UPDATE, 2:59 now!! Oh My Gosh. I just realized I have 59 more seconds to go. Such a drag. I think I'm going to start split screening most of it.  UPDATE, 2:24! I've officially watching this 46 times...yay me. UPDATE, 1:59!!!!! now I have to add titles and some back ground music. UPDATE, I found a nice sound that fits well. I jut got done with my titles. I realized that I couldn't Change on half of the text color, which is kind of a bummer. On another note, my BIG 8 game is today. It got cancelled yesterday because of the weather. Also, I got my nails done on Saturday...the E is for my boyfriend:)

 I haven't went to edit me film yet. at all. I'm not too pressed about it through because its due in two weeks. I'll get it done by then. hopefully. Anyways, My boyfriend took me on a surprise picnic date on Saturday. It was so fun. we got food from this "here an now" place in downtown Fort. Lauderdale. The fries were good. I also got wings. They were kind a spicy but it came with BBQ sauce on the side. I dipped my wing in the sauce until it ran out and then gave the rest to my boyfriend. He brought a bag soda and juice and I tried a new drink. It's really rare that I try new things because I think new thing are bad. I know, Not the best way to live life. Title Research: Daredevil

  I've never watched Daredevil before, so this was my first time seeing the opening sequence. The first thing I see in the title sequence is a face dripping in a red substance. There is a zoom out effect and then I see a body. The theme was red. The only other color I saw was black and that when their were shadows. The red makes out several different figures. The figures look like, buildings, people, a bride, and some type of pot. Towards the end of the title opening the red figures makes an angle, a castle, and a devil. Finally the title of the movie appears in bold and red. the Marvel logo also shows up on the left side of the title. To me the images most prioritized were the castle, angle, and the devil. I say this because the duration of these images lasted longer than the others. The red outline of the devil is bigger then the angle outline. Genre Research: Drama

           In this genre PowerPoint project I was asked to make a PowerPoint on the genre of my choice. For this project I decided to choose drama as my genre. I chose this genre because my sister is in drama at my school. One day I went to one of her plays. I don't really know too much about theater. The only reason I have the amount of theater knowledge right now is because of this class. Anyways, I went to one of her plays and I thought it was really cool. I cant remember what the name of the play is off the top of my head, but it was really funny. I think it was a musical actually. A lot of the girls had really good voices, even one of my guy friends were in the play and he's voice was nice too.
