Genre Research: To all the boys: always and forever
This movie has the element of love and theme. It's a bit of a roller coaster in the beginning because she likes her sisters boyfriend but then she finds a new crush and then she thinks that writing letters to them but not giving it to them is going to make her feel better. Later in the movie her youngest sister finds the box and gives the letters to the boys which gives the audience a taste of suspense. After the boy get the letter they read it. The boy who received the letter last didn't open his and she was trying to get the letter back.
They ended up liking each other and falling in love. I really like the theme and plot of this movie. It really kept the audience guessing and on their toes. When it got to the end though you could kind of tell what was going to happen because it predictable. I feel like a lot of the time movies like this are easy to tell what happens in the end. The guy always gets the girl or the girl always gets the guy. It's a cute movie though and I feel like people enjoyed it. I feel like although the movie was good some parts of it were "dragged along" in a sense. You know how shows have filler episodes? That's kind of what I felt like was going on. Especially in the mid part of the movie.
